Who we are
We are Africans in the South East of England who believe that every African should have a voice when in the United Kingdom.
We offer support and advice for our members to help them make the right choices if they choose to live and work successfully in the UK.
Most Africans in the UK are here because of a feeling of kinship to our colonial masters. Our parents painted a vision of streets of gold, the Queen and loyalty to a free society. The attraction to leave everything familiar and friendly and move to a foreign place is driven by a quest for development and survival.
Most find that the experience is not the dream…
Africans United believes that it is our responsibility is to empower the migrant African with information and support to ensure that they are not exploited or abused because of ignorance.
Our mission
Here at Africans United, we are dedicated to empowering African migrants by providing relevant information and support to ensure they are not exploited or abused due to lack of knowledge and resources.
Our projects aim to make a meaningful impact in the community by addressing key issues and creating opportunities for growth and development.
As part of our commitment to the African migrant community, we actively engage in initiatives that promote integration, education, and awareness. The aim is to foster a sense of unity and belonging, empowering individuals to thrive in their new environment while celebrating their rich cultural heritage.
